1. Anabolic steroids are controversial because of their use in competitive sports and their associated side effects. While there are numerous health issues associated with excessive anabolic steroid use, public understanding of the true risks remains limited. Anabolic steroids are considered "controlled substances" in a few countries, including the United States, where they are listed as Schedule III in the Controlled Substances Act, as well as Canada, The United Kingdom, Australia, Argentina and Brazil, which also have laws controlling their use and distribution. Anabolic steroids are banned by all major sports bodies including the IOC, FIFA , UEFA, the NHL, the MLB, the NBA and the NFL. (Courtesy Wikipedia) To sum it all up, these steroids are legal to be used but not in any major sport. Side effects - Your bodies ability to make testosterone by itself shuts down. Your balls shrink. You kill your physical endurance. You also deplete your sperm count. Possibly go infertile. Grow lots of hair. You could have insane hormonal imbalance. Cardiovascular disease. High Blood Pressure. Metabolictic syndrome (Basically what fat people have) Acne, Liver Damage.
