How do I start competetive weightlifting and would I be good?
Hello, I am 15 and really want to start doing competetive weightlifting. I am 5 10 and weigh about 200 lbs. I do football and throw shot and discus in track. I currently lift about. 7-10 hours today. My bench is 190, my hang clean is 210, my squat is 330, and my incline bench is 160. So would I be good, and how do I start? Whoops I mean I lift 7-10 hours a week

- go to your schools athletic office and ask if they have a wrestling team. theres no way to know if you'd be good. strength is a part of it but also you have to be smart and know what to do which im sure your coach will teach you. good luck
- Check out this website to see if your lifts are comparable to teen national lifts. You can also contact the USA Powerlifting Association for info on local competitions.
